You may go out and you’ll be completely fine for a while but then you go to exert yourself and the injury flares up and you’re back struggling again.
You try to keep going but the pain doesn’t seem to budge and all you can think is “Why is this lasting so long?”

Assessment, treatment and rehab of chronic pain
Initial consulation/discovery session

The consultation and information gathering is extremely important in establishing any previous injuries, emotional stressors and lifestyle habits. I very much believe in a whole person approach.
Rehab Session
45 minutes session - £60

Initial consultation/discovery session
I will gather information of your previous injury history and listen to your story. I will watch you move and conduct co-ordination tests and check ROM of joints to establish what is not doing a good job that is a possible cause of your chronic pain.
Normally the cause is not where the pain is. Hands on work will start with the time that is left.
A plan will be discussed with you going forward, of what is required, with an agreement from both parties.
Rehabilitation sessions
Sessions following on from the consultation require a two way agreement where you are asked to perform movements at home and intwined into your life as advised.
Each session will progress depending on the nervous systems response. A 'level' or milestone will need to be achieved before moving on. Even though you may be pain free, it is essential to continue with the plan until we have reached the end and you can move in a thoughtless and fearless manner - whether it being for everyday function or sport/hobby related.
You will have a full explanation of your progress each session and each phase retested before addressing the next stage.

Cancellation policy:
*48 hours notice is required for cancellation or reschedule to avoid a charge
*within 24 hours notice cancellation 50% of appointment fee
* Same day cancellations and under 24 hours before an appointment will be charged at 100% of the appointment fee.
* No shows will be charged in full for the missed appointment.
Vouchers must be used within 6 months of purchase and a no show or cancellation within 48 hours, the voucher will be lost
